Chi Liu, who founded and directs GRINLab, is an Assistant Professor at the City University of Macau. He received his PhD from the University of Technology Sydney, supervised by Prof. Tianqing Zhu and Prof. Wanlei Zhou, and his MSc and BEng from CSRDA, China, and Wuhan University, China, respectively. He previously served as a Research Fellow at Monash University, where he worked with A/Prof. Zongyuan Ge at the AIM4HEALTH Lab. His research interests include reliable and safe AI, AI for healthcare, and interdisciplinary real-world impact.
